"honestly wasn't expecting much for the price but this thing has been great. i've got a tennis wall about 20 min away but with work i just don't have time to drive there anymore so i set this up in the driveway and hit for like 20-30 min before work most mornings. took a minute to figure out the right tension on the cord but once you get it dialed in it's pretty consistent. only complaint is the ball that comes with it wore out faster than i expected, had to swap in one of my own after like a month"

"Its decent. does what it says, base doesnt move around when you hit it hard which was my main worry before buying since we have some uneven concrete out back. If I'm being picky the cord feels like it could be an inch or two longer, when I try to return higher balls it gets a little short. Not a dealbreaker but wanted to mention it in case that matters to anyone else looking at this".

"My daughter's coach mentioned something like this could help with her solo practice between lessons so we picked one up. She's been using it about 3x a week for maybe a month now and it's held up fine, no wear issues yet that I've noticed. She likes that she can practice her forehand without needing me or her brother to feed her balls all the time lol. Only thing is she wishes it came with a spare ball since the one included does eventually get worn from repeated hits"

Perfect gift idea. Bought this as a birthday present and it was a hit. Easy to set up too.

"We had one of those bulkier ball machine style trainers before that basically lived in the garage bc it was such a pain to move around and set up every time. This is so much easier, my kid can carry it out and set it up himself in under a minute. Not sure it's quite as 'intense' feeling as the old one but for regular practice it does the job and actually gets used, which the old one stopped being after a few months"

I was worried it wouldn't hold up but once set up, it's solid. Really impressed with the quality for the price. Shopping took a lot longer than I thought though.

I use it regularly and it's helped a lot with my routine. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence.

"Works great on our driveway (concrete) but we tried it once on the grass in the backyard and the base kept sliding around, wasn't really usable there. Should've read more carefully before buying since in hindsight that makes sense, it's not really designed for soft ground. On hard surfaces though no complaints, does exactly what it's supposed to"
